Transatlantic DigitalEducation Consortium

Our work

Bidding together. Delivering as one.

TDEC members combine their strengths to compete for and deliver education-technology programmes for public bodies, institutions and companies — with accessibility and accountability built in from the first page of the proposal.

Who we serve

Programmes that need more than one provider.

  • Governments and public bodies

Publicly funded education and skills programmes that require coordinated delivery, transparent roles and value for public money.

  • Schools, colleges and universities

Institutions and networks adopting digital learning at scale, who need accessible platforms and support for educators.

  • Companies and workforce programmes

Organisations investing in the skills of their people, who need inclusive learning experiences that work for every employee.

How we bid and deliver

A clear path from tender to impact.

Every programme follows the same disciplined approach, so commissioners know who is accountable for what.

  1. Horizon scanning

Members share public procurement notices and corporate requests for education-technology programmes that fit our principles.

  2. Forming the bid team

For each opportunity, the members whose capabilities match the requirement agree to bid together and choose a lead member.

  3. One coordinated bid

We prepare a single proposal with defined roles, accessibility and data-protection commitments, and one point of contact.

  4. Delivery and assurance

Members deliver together under shared quality standards, with regular reporting to the commissioner.

  5. Evaluation and handover

We measure what matters to learners and hand over the knowledge institutions need to sustain the programme.

What we bring

Capabilities, combined.

Together, our members cover the full lifecycle of a digital education programme.

  • Accessible platforms

Learning platforms and tools designed and tested to meet recognised accessibility standards.

  • Learning design

Curriculum and content developed with educators and grounded in how people learn.

  • Responsible AI

AI-assisted learning tools with human oversight, transparency and clear limits.

  • Localisation

Content and interfaces adapted for different languages, regions and education systems.

  • Data protection

Privacy by design and careful handling of learner data in line with applicable law.

  • Programme coordination

Joined-up delivery, reporting and quality assurance across every member involved.
