Statement on accessibility

Our promise

We dey aim make dis website follow di Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 for level AA, and make e meet level AAA anywhere we fit.

Wetin we dey do

• Every page get skip link, clear landmarks and heading structure wey make sense.
• You fit use every function with keyboard, and di focus indicator dey clear to see.
• Di colours of text meet di WCAG AAA contrast ratio of 7:1.
• Buttons and links dey at least 44 × 44 pixels, so dem dey easy to tap. Di only exception na links wey dey inside sentence.
• Animation go reduce or comot when you set your device to reduce movement, or when you choose am for di settings for accessibility. You fit also pause di main picture wey dey move.
• Content dey rearrange for small screens and e still dey easy to read when you zoom am.
• We dey test pages with automatic accessibility checks (axe-core) for every change, plus manual testing with keyboard.

Settings for accessibility

Use di “A11y” button, wey get di universal access symbol, for di header (inside di menu for small screens) or for di footer, to reduce movement, stop every animation, add more contrast, put line under links, make text big, add more space for text or change to letter style wey easy to read. We go always respect di accessibility settings for your own device, and na only for dis browser we dey save wetin you choose.

Di limits wey we know

Some level AAA requirements never complete. Especially, some pages dey written above di reading level of lower secondary school (WCAG 3.1.5). Automatic testing no fit find every problem too. If any part of dis website dey hard for you to use, abeg tell us so we fit fix am.
